Inappropriate songs I would sing to my children... Part one

I don't know any classic songs you sing to your children. And when they're so young that they can't understand words or context you may as well just sing whatever you want to them. So, much like. Ross and Rachel from "friends" (90's flashback, OH MY GOD) I would sing something not necessarily "Kid friendly"

Crazy train by Ozzy Osborn
Big girl you are beautiful by Mika (which, isn't really inappropriate, but it's not traditional)
2000 light years away but Green Day
Sugar by System of a down
Courtesy call by Sixx: AM
Diamond Eyes by Rishloo
every morning by Sugar Ray (wow, another 90's flashback!)
run Around Sue... Probably redun by a lot of different people
Oh what's that song... Theme song for "charmed" ... Such a depressing song...

These are just to name a few. I'll post links to music videos on my twitter when I get the chance, but you get the point. It doesn't matter what you sing, as long as it comes from the heart.

Book update!
Still reading the mortal instruments, city of bones and I'm hating it more and more. Every once in a while I get caught up in it, but most of the time I'm just thinking "yes! Get on with it!"
Right now they seem to be building some kind of will they/won't they/who's she gonna pick drama... Like she has to choose between her best friend, who's a bit of a prik, who she's know her whole life, but obviously has never thought of him as anything other than a friend or else why wouldn't they have started dateing a long time ago (sorry for the run on sentence), or she could choose the "hot" douch who, on occation can be nice but is more often than not a douch with a capital BAG.
Women of the world know this! There's no shame in being alone! If your stuck between a rock and a hard place (or a douch and a hard ass in this case) take a lesson from fleetwood Mac
You can go your own waaaaaaay!
Go your own waayyyyyy!

What kind of music do you listen to?

Hey people, and a special hello to everyone else.

Have you ever noticed that the number one question that you get asked when meeting new people is "do you like music?" Or "what kind of music do you listen too?"
Personally, I think the kind of music you like to listen too says a lot about who you are. If you enjoy a large variety of music you probably are more open minded and sophisticated and you use words like "therefor" and "sophisticated". But if you only listen to one type of music then you probably don't experience much outside of your comfort zone.
I'm not trying to stereotype people who listen to certain kinds of music, but generally speaking there are certain personalities that come with certain lovers of a specific genre of music.
For instance;
Rock: confident, sometimes borderline cocky people, there very outgoing and friendly, but if you piss them off they'll kick your ass.

Punk-rock: similar to rockers, but are pissed off easier and get in fights when they drink. Every time they drink.

Jazz: these guys are easy going. They like the simple things in life. There passionate about whatever they love, but could still get in a fight if they had too.

Rhythm and Blues: sometimes passionate to an over extent. Bordering on obsessive. Easy going for the most part but high strung individuals who, like punk-rockers, get into fights when they drink, but only when they drink too much, but are occationally less likely to win.

Classical music: these guys love the finer things in life, but lets face it, they have too. If you're a lover of rock and roll music you only need to pay a $5 cover charge to go see a show at a bar, but if you like classical music and you want to go see someone play Mozart's Requiem: Lacrimosa you have to pay an arm and a leg typically. And you just get to sit there in a room and listen. No screaming, no mosh pit. And if you start making out with the person you took there, they kick you out. So these guys are typically passionate but not too out in the open with there passion.
Example: you would see a punk rocker making out with his chick in a Starbucks, but a classical music lover would save that for the bed room.
Also if they got in a fight, they'd probably pay someone to kick your ass.

Rap: rap lovers are the jokers of the music loveing world. They will laugh louder and more obnoxiously then anyone in the world. But if you piss them off, or mess with there friends or family they will come at you. HARD! So you best be stepin' off bro, no whatimsayin'.

Country: country music lovers are stupid and like to have sex with their cousins. (Once again, not stereotyping, just saying in general. There is an exception to every rule.)

I'm mostly saying, people who only like one kind of music should open their minds a bit and experience whatelse is out there. You might end up falling in love with a type of music you thought you would hate.
Most people do like more then just one kind of music, I find. And there are many more kinds of music than the ones I mentioned. There are mixed genres, Alternative, Indie, dance music, dubstep, electronic, folk, hip-hop and so on and so on...
I love almost anything I listen too. Case and point I could listen to Yoko Ono's "Yes I'm Your Angel" for days. To skrillex for hours, or the song "someone that I used to know" for a whole summer. Which I did once. Actually that was pretty torturous... But still!
There are people who complain when an artist they love changes their sound. Like for example, when Snoop dog became Snoop lion. He changed in his mind so his music changed with it. Nothing wrong with it. Growth is human nature, if we don't learn and adapt and change, we die. Sometimes change isn't for the better. For instance the decemberists, there old stuff kicked ass. There newer stuff, not so good. They changed something ever so slightly, they took a chance, but they failed. Oh well.

All in all I leave you with this quote:
"Keep and open mind, but not so open as for it to fall out." -can't remember.

I was snow blind!

Hey there internet users,
I'm not used to writing 2012 on things yet. But I'm also not used to telling people I'm 20. I sometimes still say I'm 17. It makes it difficult when I get carded. That and I don't look like my drivers license picture anymore sense I got my hair coloured.

I'm so tired, from work and running around and what not. Plus I haven't really been sleeping the past few nights. But! I did go to a kick ass rock show on Friday night! I was going to take pictures of the band rocking out on stage, but I was distracted by a random hipster. I would have posted the picture on the blog but my app wouldn't publish it if it had the picture.

The night wasn't exactly what I expected it to be, but it never is with the people I hang out with. The show was 10 bucks to see 4 bands, but because I was only there for the civil disobedience. They were playing last so we went to hang out with some other people close by in there apartment across the street. Turns out they are in a band too, but there concert got canceled because of the blizzard. we talked about the awesomeness of music 'till around midnight then we went to the bar and saw civil D. Sense we didn't get to see the other 3 bands we didn't have to pay! I love a free rock show! And so we listened to the musical styling of the civil disobedience and had a gray evening, I ran into a few old friends, and avoided some used-to-be friends and fun times were had by all.

I hated waking up for work the next morning but what is done must be done. Now I have to help my homeless friend and his old house mate build resumes to get jobs. No more living off unemployment and the money they get from selling there bodily functions. Eww.
I'm not putting that on the resume.
