P.S. I'm posting this from my iPad, I don't recommend getting one. Android is better, but that goes without saying really.

P.P.S. I hope the comic comes up first, or else this blog is confusing. And less funny.

P.P.P.S. still looking into getting a video blog up and running, also trying to get some friends together to make a music video.

Interweb say wha?

It has come to my attention that most of the people who read my blog do so with internet explorer... I'd like to say. what's up with that? Chromes the way to go man, that's like not having Google as your home page. though, when I use Chrome it shows my most often used websites. For me sadly it's Facebook ..then Google .. then YouTube for some reason.

Speaking of YouTube! Check out this video!

Wasn't that fun kids!

Now, what was I going to talk about? Ah, yes.

Being back at school is cool so far. I still kind of hate it for some reason, but I'm trying to take it seriously. The teacher keeps telling us "don't over think it" but we're all creative people in the class. It's Graphic design! You have to be a creative person to even want to be in this course. You can use your ideas on so many levels and mediums. Being creative means we all use both sides of our brain. we're not left or right oriented, Creativity requires logic, analyses, imagination and words and sometimes even rythm! (see chart e-5)

Chart e-5

As you can see from the chart above, creative people use both there left and right side of the brain. So if your creative, your brain is more balanced. You would think...

I'm not good with numbers, or maps, but I've got rhythm and I use lists and lines and words. I daydream and imagine. I'm good wish shapes and colours so there you have it. I might be MORE skilled in my right side, but I exercise both sides.
and as we all know, balance is key to life.

Hey that sounded pretty smart.
well that's my rant for the day. Have a good one, use chrome.

What a show!

I had the pleasure of going to see a local band Friday night and it was an awesome night! I got to see people I haven't seen in a long time, caught up with all the new things going on, got invited to an after party. I even got a guy to buy me a drink! How awesome is that, that almost never happens.

I think I like being sociable. Being friendly is way better then being socialy awkward.

Can't remember what I was saying

There once was a man from a fish bowl

Who raised a very nice hippo

That totally rhymed

Stop wasting my time

You crazy little people

If you read that in the voice that I have stuck in my head it would have made sense. It kind of sounded like Scrooge from Jim Carry's A Christmas Carol. That's probably not what it's called but if I said "A Christmas Carol" you'd be like... Scrooge McDuck? or The dude from the Muppet Christmas Carol? and I'd be like *face palm*

So I'd like to dedicate this post to the writers and staff or 30 Rock. I've read Tina Fey's autobiography "Bossy Pants" as I think I mentioned in a past post, and I remember her saying they didn't expect the show to be renewed after the first season, but then it was and they were happy! So I'm glad it was on as long as it was, and I'm glad they ended it so nicely. Often shows drag on for too long and people stop caring about them.

Then there are the shows that get canceled that are really good and you want to see where it's going. It's worse when they end on a "to be continued..." (*cough* My Name is Earl *cough cough*) I blame the critics... and Hitler!

"Hey everybody let's all blame Hitler! He won't mind!"

On one hand I feel bad for bad mouthing someone who died, but on the other hand... he was Hitler...

I've had one song stuck in my head for the past few days and I can't seem to get it out. "Mister Cellophane from Chicago... such a good musical. I'm not really into musicals, but that one I make an exception for. I love it. I admit it, I love that movie.

Clarification for those who don't know, a musical has talking in it, an Opera dose not.

Example: Chicago has songs, but also it has times where people are talking.

HOWEVER: In the traditional musical "Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat" (which if you haven't seen, your lucky) there are no talking parts, only singing.

I urge you to join me on February 20th to participate in "Favorite movie day." Watch your favorite movie, or two or three and relax. Life is long, and every once in a while you need to unwind. So whether you're a lazy bum who doesn't do much, or a busy college student, or a mom with 3 kids and no time to yourself, on February 20th, put your mind at ease for an hour or two or three depending on the movie and just relax.
